Would like "Cycle through windows" (cmd-??) in the menu.
Command-backtick seems like a good choice, with command-tilde (command-shift-backtick) to reverse the rotation. More to come on this train of thought.
No.
Internet Exploder 5.2.3 has it. (iCab used to but now has cycle through tabs, which Camino also has.) Exploder has a reasonable key assignment, command-tilde. though it works with or without Shift, so you might call it command-backtick, (the tilde is certainly more distinctive in the menu). Palm Desktop has it, lebeled as command-backtick, and it works the same way. Actually in both these apps the shift key reverses the rotation (when there are more than two windows). I think it's something that ought to be in the Mac's toolbox so every program that can open more than one window could have it. Safari, Firefox, Thunderbird, PageSpinner, Quicken, GraphicConverter, Fetch, Interarchy, Word, AppleWorks don't have it but I wish they did. ;B
That would be the fact that it is in the system itself but is only alluded to in a few apps, while they all in fact have it. ... I'm brand new to 10.4; I wonder if this feature is new or if it's been around for a while.
