I've been looking for a good outline program that has (1) Smart quotes, and (2) Zoom (my eyes are old!).

You're half-way there.

Also would be nice: a file-format that could be read by DevonThink.

How so? You can magnify within the window using the popup menu at the lower left. (And "smart quotes" are available via Opal > Preferences.)

To make it more obvious, Zoom is now available from the View menu as well as the popup at the lower left.

Yes, please put all options in the menu--there needs to be a single place to find all possible commands, and the most logical place is the menu.

Now, we need a way for the zoom setting to persist when opening new documents or reopening the old. Also a way to specify a default new window size.

This is great software, and I can't wait to buy a copy!

Zoom state will be saved in version 1.0.1.
