default outline style

Thank you for your update of Acta to Opal. I am thrilled.

I have used MORE and Acta, but with OSX have been forced to use OmniOutliner (which I like but cannot print with any accuracy with - everything shrinks down to tiny print) and Tao (which is very nice and very confusing), both of which I can use for complicated projects. The beauty of Opal is its simplicity.

I am a clergyman and need a good outliner for my sermons and other "let's put people to sleep" presentations. Opal is great because of the ease with which I can move items around and separate, etc.

I have a request: is there some way to create a default outline style, or better yet, a menu of choices for templates? This would allow me to create meeting agendas and sermon/speech styles of documents. I know I could do this by creating stationary of the document, and will be doing so, but it would be great to have a folder of the templates.

Again, thank you for resurrecting (a professional term, pardon me) Acta! It is so nicely done.

If by style you mean "level 1 14 point bold, level 2 12 point italic," then no.

Mitigating this is the ability to select all level 2 topics and turn them italic. Also, in Preferences you can set a font for all new topics (which Acta didn't have), so you can have a standard style and then a few exceptions.
