Promoting/demoting stuff is more intuitive to me than creating aunts and daughters and what-have-you.

But shift-command-R is about as cumbersome a key-combo as you could hope for.

Tab for Move Right, Shift+Tab for Move Left is fairly standard; perhaps we could have that option. Or how about just Command-<arrow key>?  I don't think mnemonics ("R for Right") operate at the level of muscle-memory.

By the way, I see you have Howie Becker commenting on the app. Well that's pretty damn impressive: the great sociologist-of-deviance, co-architect of the Chicago Manual of Style, enemy of academic guff and flannel... gosh. I'm impressed. And I'm not easily impressed... Look! A _blue_ car!

(Simpsons fans will know what I mean.)

Tab is reserved for moving between columns, which I expect will be in a future version.

Most anything involving arrow keys is already used (in fact, I need to investigate Leopard's usurpation of arrow keys, because I think it will conflict with some of Opal's).
