Remove blank topics

When text and RTF files are imported into Opal, the blank lines are converted inot blank topics.  It is nice if they could be removed all at once.

Would it make more sense for importing to try to exclude blank topics (assuming they had no subtopics)?

It is difficult to say which is better.
Menu bar command is easy to use, but automatic conversion may be preferred by those who use this function frequently.

I'm in favor of increasing the options.  It's a tradition on the Mac -- more than one way to do a thing.

If you know at the outset that you want to exclude blank topics, great, but after you've gone into some edits you certainly won't want to go back and start over.

Increasing the options can result in Microsoft Word style applications though...

I don't really think this would be an option. I don't really see the use of importing blank lines as topics. The import process is supposed to deduce an outline structure from a text file. Omitting blank lines between paragraphs is simply doing a better job of that.
