Opal and Leopard

FYI: I'm expecting to release a minor update of Opal in the next couple weeks. In my tests with a prerelease version of Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5), Opal worked fine (and takes advantage of some bug fixes in Leopard).

Once Leopard is actually available, I'll be adding support for new Leopard features such as Quick Look. This version of Opal will still work on Mac OS X 10.4.

Some of my plans for new features may require Leopard. But that won't happen right away.

I hope that means only that we won't get the new features, not that we would be forced to upgrade to Leopard.

At some point there will be a version of Opal that requires 10.5. But this isn't going to happen at least until Opal 1.2.

Well, OK, as long as an older 10.4-ish version is still available.

A prerelease of 1.1 is now available at <http://a-sharp.com/opal/download.html>. It should work in both Leopard and Tiger.
